Got this yesterday and we tried it out with steak, green peppers, onion, and pre-cooked potatoes fried in oil. It was so good! I think next time we will try broth. Used wooden skewers because I didn't want to scratch the lining with metal. Also came with a little recipe book, looks like I will make the cheese/sausage dip at Christmas. So easy to clean, just wipe with a paper towel. Highly recommend.Great fondue pot. Perfect for small parties or a date night. Has temperature control and came with sticks which completes the set. You can use for cheese or chocolate. I have not tried it with meat yet.Great quality and easy to clean.We like the pot for fondue, but the power cord attaches to the thermostat with magnets, and this joint isn't very strong, compounded by the short cord length we wind up having to reattach it after slight cord bumps. I suppose this is a safety feature to avoid the pot being pulled over by a child pulling the cord, but it's an annoyance for us adults.Easy to use, clean, and handle but the temperature controls are completely wacky. On the lowest temp it was still burning my fondue cheese:(Could not use it it would not heatWe got it to work but the receptacle where plug goes, was set too far back. We were able to pull it forward.We have only used this for cheese fondue so far, but it worked great! You do have to watch the temp and it can be tricky to regulate, but once you get past that it's all good. The best part is the cleaning afterwards. It is VERY easy to clean. No need to soak anything as it wiped out very easily and cleaned up quickly with soap and water. Two things I would change: the temperature probe is a bit inconvenient to read due to its positioning, and the power cord is way too short. To me, though, these are not deal-breakers. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.So, one of the things that I didn't realize was exactly how short the cord was. It is not long enough to get to the end of a regular kitchen table If you were to place the pot in the middle. I'm talking like it's 3 ft max.The court itself is magnetic which is exactly what I wanted, but every time you attach the magnetic base you swear it's in upside down. The design itself is really not attractive, the electrical cord should have come out the bottom of the magnetic attachment or been angled down instead of being angled up. It really just looks and feels completely awkwardThe biggest problem I have with this is that it is very difficult to easily empty the oil. All they had to do was put a little notch/ pour spout on it and they didn't. This means that it's almost all impossible to empty this without making a huge mess. So if you're thinking about putting your oil into a bottle using a funnel, just forget about it. Just dump it all on your floor or table and that's probably easier than the mess it's going to create if you try to do it carefullyIt also would have been nice had they included a lid that would cover the pot while the oil is cooling just to prevent accidents, or to allow you to transport it to wherever you're going to attempt to drain it without risking spilling the oil everywhere.At the end of the day it's a great introductory pot, but I found the shortcomings on its first use and really wish I had bought something elseExcelente diseño y muy practica a pesar de tener un cable sobre la mesa para conectarla. Sin duda alguna fue una gran compra a un buen precio.Compré este producto porque necesitaba una olla de fondue más grande que el tamaño promedio de las que hay en el mercado. No me equivoqué, pude hacer alrededor de 1 kg. de queso, más sus ingredientes y el tamaño fue excelente. Me encanta que el control de temperatura funciona de maravilla. Por ahí vi que incluso el nivel más bajo era mucho, pero no es verdad. En realidad, el más bajo es lo suficientemente sutil como para preservar líquido el fondue, pero no llega a quemarlo, ni resecarlo ni nada.Lo compré para mi fiesta de cumpleaños: primero lo usamos con queso, y después hice ganache de chocolate para disfrutarlo con frutos rojos. Fue todo un éxito. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.Me gustó mucho. Funciona perfectamente. Mantiene una temperatura constante, se enciende automáticamente cada que la temperatura baja.
