Ice Maker Machine Countertop 1. Please read the user manual carefully before using the product. 2. After receiving the product, please let it stand on a flat and steady for 2-4 hours before turning it on. 3. To ensure normal use, please use running water, mineral water, conventional pure water. 4. Please do not turn the ice machine countertop over or tilt it more than 45° during transportation or use. If in any case this happens, level and allow it to stand for at least 2 hours before plugging in and using the unit again. 5. Please empty the water tank and dry it for storage if the ice machine countertop is not used for a long time.

What a great product. I got a very good deal on this ice maker. I was initially looking for the ice maker that makes crushed/pellet ice, but realized quickly that they're way out of my price range. I picked up this ice maker on a limited time deal.I wouldn't say there's much of a difference between small and large ice but it makes good ice either way.We use reverse osmosis water. It doesn't come out clear so if you're specifically looking for clear ice, my guess is that it's not going to happen no matter what type of water you use.Once the ice bucket is full we transfer the ice to a larger lidded container and immediately put it in the freezer, and let the ice maker do it's job again until the water is gone. We then unplug it until we are getting low on ice.The first few ice cubes are always thin until the machine cools enough to properly form ice. The process is loud, ice dropping, fan running, so if you expect quiet, it's not really like that.We do use or discard the first few cubes as they're very thin until the machine fully cools the prongs. It's usually by the 3rd make of ice that you'll get full cubes.The empty water tank and cubes full indications work like a charm.I'm glad I didnt opt for a fancy stainless steel model. It's not needed for us. This little machine does the job and gives us ice in a timely manner, and it will be good when someone friends or family come over, to keep making ice. It really is a dependable machine. It's light too, so i can take it to friend's places in the summer.
