The Idli Steamer is a clean method for cooking eggs as well as idlis. It assembles and disassembles easily. It is also easy to clean.I am not at all happy with the product I received. It was defective item (multiple issues) and then when I reached out to the seller for a replacement for the item they asked me to pay the return shipping.You can buy the same item from Indian stores cheaper prices!Really needed this idly cooker, Worked well the first time, but have just realised that the base is too flimsy and even on low flame the base gets burnt quickly.No other qualms with this product.The idly plates are sturdy enough.Premier is a known brand and usually all their products that I own are very good quality and value for money, not sure whether I’m doing something wrong.My wife liked this product a lot and we are giving a 5 star coz its base is hob compatible as well, and its quick. The whistle blow indicator is really a good one.The top lid becomes loose as the pressure builds and one has to keep pressing the the top lid down with hand as it doesn't have a locking mechanism. So its not an ideal buyArrived before the actual delivery date...which was wonderful! Have been using it since then, no problems at all....quite satisfied with the quality. .its just the empty pot is more noisy on the heat than with the mould n batter in it. Which actually is not a problem..just a fun fact...Not good quality. The cover doesn't stay to build up steam. Only option is to push and hold and wait till the idli’s are cooked.
