This is my second cold brew set up. The other was more of a ‘brew’, it had a screened vessel with the coffee you would remove after brewing. Pressing the coffee does seem to get more flavor out. What I don’t like about this though is that I have to compress the coffee 90% down to get it in my fridge anyways and then the grounds have to stay until it’s all finished. Which is alright, I just have to remember to add some more water the 3rd night before my 4th morning and dilute it back some. For reference, I’m filling up my coffee grinder 4 times. I’d say roughly a cup of grounds for each brew, and mixed with milk/creamer lasts me 5days.Just recently got back into drinking iced coffee so figured I’d find a cheaper alternative to make it myself. I don’t like the glass bodums because they tend to break so I bought a few of these, now I have bought a total of 20 in 1 week. They are great and I can mix and match the colors tooI bought this for my girlfriend (as I hate coffee) and she is absolutely in love with it. She really enjoys coffee but we live in Texas and in the summer, even the morning is pretty hot outside. So the perfect solution is this coldbrew thingamajig, she can sit out on the porch in the morning and have a coffee and enjoy the view without feeling the sweltering heat as badly and I don't have to smell coffee being made in the morning. Perfect win-winI love my Cold Brew. This makes having cold brew everyday the easiest and tastiest way possible. You just add your desired amount of coffee give a good stir and let it set over night. In the morning it's as easy as slowly pressing down on the knob once all your coffee grounds are at the bottom its ready to serve. I usually move the coffee from the french press to another pitcher. I serve myself a nice big cup and you have about 3 servings based on the size cup used. I usually go ahead and turn around and clean it and start the process all over again so i'm not without coffee. I highly recommend this method for anyone who has a cold brew obsession.Use this for delicious at home cold brew. I drink a decent amount of coffee, so I can get about three days out of this. Works great, easy to clean. No issues! Only recommendation would be to use course ground coffee instead of your normal ground coffee.Bought this for its size considering I’m the only one who will drink it and didn’t want to take up too much fridge space. I thought it didn’t work at first because I didn’t read the instructions. You put on on the filter and twist lid when you’re ready to drink. To brew just add water and grounds. I make it every morning and it lasts me my 4 day work week. Sturdy and easy to clean. My daughter had this cold brew maker, and encouraged me to purchase one as well. We had been buying the store brands (LaColumbe, Califia, etc.) at about $5 per bottle. I was willing give home brewing a shot for $12, and I'm glad I did! I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I saved two LaColumbe bottles and rotate them with the cold brew I make using this carafe. It's super easy. I use 7 scoops of Trader Joe's medium roast at 4.99/bag. Cleanup is very easy. I use the leftover coffee grounds in my vegetable garden. A win win. After purchasing one for myself, I ordered one for my my cousin and another for a friend. We all love it!OK, so I single-handedly used to keep Starbucks cold brew in business (the stuff you buy from the grocery store). I would buy like 3 jugs a week, (like $20 worth) because that was still cheaper than going to Starbucks every day. HOWEVER, I finally thought, it must be easy to make this stuff? Voila, this beautiful maker. So many cold brew coffee makers are really expensive - don't bother. THIS is all you need. You get this guy, some regular coffee grounds from the grocery store, and add water. 6 hours later you have tons of iced coffee and it is fresh and delicious. It's super easy to clean, and this size is perfect in the fridge - it doesn't take up too much room.I constantly make it and put any left over into a separate container and it's perfect. I've used Folgers regular coffee, Nabob, Starbucks, all good. About 6 scoops (scoop comes with the maker). I don't really recommend flavoured coffee.. I tried it, not so good.I've had this guy for a few months, made tons of cold brew. 100/10 recommendation. Honestly. It's so good.I’ve done some research before purchasing this cold brewer and I have no regrets. I like the fact that you can make large batches out cold coffee. It’s very easy to use, there is a slight learning curve on how strong you’d like your cold coffee.Using the scoop that’s included with the cold brewer, I use 6 scoops of Starbucks caffe Verona (whole bean) and I ground the beans between medium to coarse grind and let it sit for 12hrs. Just a tip, if you have extra cold brew coffee, transfer it to another container (I reuse the 2L iced tea bottles) because the longer it sits in the coffee grinds it will get stronger.. it’s a little too strong for my taste. When taking off the lid, pull the Plunger until it reaches the top and then take off the lid.Great coffee pot to make chilled coffee, just like the little one I used every morning for hot coffee. However, it is huge. It is too fat to go in the door and it is too tall to go on any of the shelves. The only way it would fit in my large fridge/freezer by Samsung is by removing a shelf! But I cannot do without that shelf.A problem.Material de boa qualidade, é possível fazer café "quente" também, apesar de não está descrito no manualVery easy to clean, once you figure out how to put the lid for steeping/pouring it’s good. I nearly snapped it trying to pull it off so I could clean it but be gentle.Steep your grinds for overnight, it’s perfect. Normally you need coarse grind coffee but this works with your fine grinds!Love love love mine!
