I read a lot of reviews on the p touch and I've honestly not had any of the problems listed on others. I wanted to add my review on here since it didn't have but 1 as of this date. The only reason I chose this one over the other brother ptouch is because this one is PINK Lol I've been using this label maker for 3 days straight and I have not once had any issues with batteries. I didn't buy the extra plug and I don't see why one would actually be needed. The first time I used it was for 2 hours and I didn't have a problem. Yes there is a lot of waste between prints but not enough of an issue to not use it. I'm on the 2nd refill that came in the pack. One refill is black type on white and the 2nd is black on clear.
