This little (yes, it is small) coffee maker makes wonderfully smooth and very strong coffee. I use it to add to heated milk for a perfect early morning latte. The only caveat to this glowing review is, it requires very careful attention to assembly. Don't add even a little bit extra ground coffee, be precise about the water level, make double darned sure the metal filter and the rubber gasket are correctly in place and give extra twists to seal the unit prior to plugging it in and switching it on. If not done this way, it will tend to splutter and splurt liquid out of the joined top and bottom. Not a catastrophe, but it is a bit of a cleanup and also not as much actual brewed coffee because, somehow, a portion of it will end up in the bottom half. My thought on this is, my stovetop Bialetti (the same design) did the same thing but then the mess was all over the stove. At least with this one, it's easier to wipe up the counter - ha!This makes great espresso (or expresso for those so inclined) and it does it very fast. I had a stovetop model but that takes 20 minutes and I'm sure the meter spins wildly. This takes less than 5 minutes. I haven't measure output of espresso between the 2 but I think my 6 cup stovetop model makes just a bit more fl. ozs than this one but it's negligible. Love this pot, I will update if any issues ariseWhen the coffee is ready if I don't open the lid the coffee falls over the table and make some mess.The tip needs some modification to correct this issue.For the price this shouldn't happenWorks great and renders the real taste of coffee!So far so good, makes good coffee. Only issue is the lid is slightly misaligned.The quality of product it’s not the best seems fragile inside and the base also seem very fragile, I used to have one that the brand was Alise and the quality of the coffee maker was very superior, I think this is too expensive for the quality of the productI bought this to use in my office at work. We have the Kcup thing there and well the espresso just goes right through it. Brews faster than my espresso maker at home on the stove. Yo hago café con la tapa abierta, solo vigilar por el potencial desastre de derrame, pero eso depende de quien la usa. Vigilar que el café este bien molido, si no no les va a salir. Viene con un filtro que puede dividirse a la mitad, para 3 o 6 tazas más o menos cargado yo uso media carga a 6 tazas, la recomiendo mucho.Funciona bien y es fácil de usar, obtuve una gran taza de café en menos de 5 minutos, si usas una taza más pequeña deberías obtener más! La cafetera hace un café sin olores, a mi madre le encanta así que estoy pensando en comprar otra para usarla en el trabajo y la recomiendo.
