Makes waffles the same size as the store bought frozen ones at a much better price. I make a dozen at a time and freeze them. Pop them in a toaster for a few minutes to crisp up a bit. Cooks evenly and quickly.I Know it said Mini....but, this is Really Tiny....Wish I had gotten a little bigger one, but it does do one mini waffle.So, my Dash Mini Waffle Iron died on me. My fault because I didn't take good care of it. So I got this one because the Dash Iron is more money than it used to be. I thought "a waffle iron is a waffle iron, right?" Wrong! I made a mistake. My biggest complaint about it is the iron part-the part you pour the batter into. When I pour the batter into the iron it is shallow. If I pour too much, the batter seeps out over the edge of the iron - A MESS! So, I have to be super careful not to "overfill" the iron. So being careful and filling the iron with less batter means my waffles come out really thin. This means I have to take more time and make more waffles because I can't put very much batter in the iron. Overall, it's a pain and it takes too much of my time to make a simple, decently thick waffle. I wish I would have spent the money for a new Dash. :0(This is a good product for making mini waffles, about the same size as those toaster waffles, although I bought this under the impression that I would be able to make some good chaffles, to use as an alternative for hamburger buns, and the trays are just a little too shallow to make anything that resembles a hamburger bun. Not a bad product, just not what I was looking for.I cannot use it as I have parrots and it DOES contain Teflon.It says it is PFOA free but having parrots means usiIng PFAS-feee appliances and cookware. So NOTHING having PFASs, Teflon, PFOA, PFOS, and PTFE… if it doesn’t say it, do not buy it!!! It’s the closest to the size and the chaffle recipes wool perfectly on this & gives you 4 “slices”I've had one of those big, heavy waffle makers that make 4 waffles and it's been very hard to use because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis. So, for several years I haven't made waffles. When I saw this little waffle maker, I read a lot of reviews before I bought it. It was worth every single cent!! It makes the perfect size waffle. It's easy to clean up and very easy to store because it's small. And most of all, it's lightweight and take it from someone who has Rheumatoid Arthritis that's bad especially in my hands, this waffle maker is perfect in every way! I love it!One temp. setting. Very easy to use. It makes waffles comparable in size to Eggo. Perfect size for freezing and popping in the toaster later. Very easy to clean as long as you stay away from metal utensils. Nonstick surface is great! The lid lifts easily as soon as the waffle is cooked so there is no guessing. We love it!Works as expected.Made cute tiny waffles. Just be aware it's tiny (won't give you thick fluffy waffles)
