Best Moka pot I've ever used. Its beautiful and functions perfectly. All parts were machined to perfection. Making coffee with this moka pot bring happiness everytime I use it. I got the 3 cup version and its perfect for me.Perfect in form. I collect Alessi designs pieces for form and function. The quality and elegance in the rendering of each piece is of museum quality, and this coffee pot is no exception to their standard of excellence.I had one of these about 20 years ago and loved it. Design that has stood the test of time. It will discolor over time but that is to be expected of an item exposed to high heat over long period. Makes a great cup of coffee.Art and good coffee. Easy to use and clean.I love this product. It’s both beautiful and makes great espresso.you can never go wrong with RossiThis product has all the attributes of first-rate Italian design: uniquely pleasing to the eye of the select few who "get it" - a personal thing - functional, if imperfectly so, and expensive because it is artisanally manufactured. You can use it to make coffee, but also look at it in your kitchen as an injection of art into your everyday life. I say personal because you either like it or you don't. To me, it pleases almost like the distorted semi-abstract Picasso painting, I completely love it. It isn't for everyone, no judgement intended.The designer, Aldo Rossi, was an architect. He made sketches for a series of cafetières, each to resemble specific Renaissance buildings. The are post modern, with ornamentation that is not completely functional. Interestingly, one of the kettles from this series is the one Jean-Luc Picard uses in his personal quarters in Star Trek Next Gen.In terms of how well it works, it leaves something to be desired. If you don't fill it to a certain point or screw the top on very tight, it will emit steam and only partially fill. Also, it is hard to tell when it is done - it gurgles seemingly forever, then abruptly stops, so if you forget it, it can burn. Finally, you have to be very careful when pouring: coffee sputters from the spout. Yes, these deficiencies are annoying, but the enjoyment of the product is completely satisfying nonetheless.Recommended. This is a product that blurs the distinction between art and simple appliances.Perfect!! Makes espresso in less then ten minutes and easy to use from start to clean up.Looks and feels fantastic. It's heavy, very solid. Splendid piece!It's not perfect: the handle gets hot towards the top, as does the lid.But it is as functional as you'd expectIn my opinion, well worth the premium over the La Cupola.(5 estrellas por la estética y 0 estrellas por las funcionalidades)¡La cafetera es preciosa!¡Hace un pésimo café!Yo tengo cerca de 70 cafeteras (Atomic Robbiati, Bialleti, OMG, Giannini ...) de diversas medidas y de variados modelos; modelos de los años cincuenta hasta los días de hoy y puedo afirmar que esta Alessi debe ser la cafetera que hace el peor café ...Pienso que se produce un error de concepción (la columna de ascenso del café es demasiado alta y estrecha lo que hace con lo que es imposible evitar que el agua hierva y se alcance la fase Stromboliana, haciendo quemar el café; creo que en este caso se ignoró por completo la funcionalidad y se contempló sólo la estética del diseñador Aldo Rossi. Es una pena que la marca Alessi no haya hecho correcciones en este modelo Alessi "La Conica" para conseguir un café razonable, al menos ...Llamo la atención que este es el modelo más caro de Alessi.esteticamente valida. sicuramente è tutta in acciaio inox (tranne disco in rame alla base) ma probabilmenteparte dell'imbuto porta caffè non è acciaio aisi 304 (la alamita attaccamo in maniera veemente)caffè sicuramente diverso da quello fatto con la classica caffettiera di alluminioil cappelletto conico che chiude la parte superiore è un po scomodo da gestire (non entra benissimo sulla base e quando esce il caffè rischia di schizzare fuori...)il costo è sicuramente elevato ma in linea con lo standard AlessiServizio prime sempre efficientissimo, è arrivata di domenica.Detto questo l’ho acquistata a febbraio 2021 ad un prezzo molto conveniente.La caffettiera si presenta perfetta e affascinante, come dovrebbe essere un oggetto di design come questo!Ma per pignoleria mia segnalo che ho trovato qualche piccolo segno, il che spiegherebbe il prezzo davvero conveniente.Dalle foto potete vedere e fare le vostre valutazioni ma a mio avviso commisurato al prezzo a cui l’ho pagata e al fatto che stiamo parlando di un prodotto quasi artigianale sono cose più che accettabile!Per cui in conclusione non posso assolutamente lamentarmi tuttalpiù che funziona senza alcun problemaLa caffettiera è ben curata, l'ho comprata per regalarla, ne posseggo una identica e devo dire che la qualità alessi si vede. Il prezzo è molto alto, ma si paga il design ovviamente. Le tazze dichiarate sono molto abbondanti, diciamo che per chi ama il caffè in quantità poco piu' del bar fa quasi il doppio delle tazzine.
