This towel was a big bigger than I expected (I didn't pay too much attention to the measurements when I was comparing all the options on Amazon for this particular style of towel) but I would rather it be too big than to small! I ended up choosing this one based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. It is exactly what I was looking for, for my guest bathroom. The washing instructions are more than I anticipate, but I'm assuming any quality towels would be the same to ensure they are soft/absorbent. I would happily recommend this towel and I would buy another in the future. It is definitely not a cheap hand towel (it's on the expensive side) but it also looks and feels high quality, which is exactly what I was wanting.They work well, feel a little rough but I like them like that, don’t buy if you are looking for very soft towels. They dry quickly and are attractive!I bought this as part of a set: bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth. After a month of regular use, machine washing, and line drying, these have faded to have light brown spots on them. I honestly usually can deal with the fading, but not at the price of these linens. Luckily, they have maintained the same size and the towels dry well. These are softer than the waffle towel weave, but they do not dry you off as quickly - an annoyance for me, but the softer weave might make the longer drying off time worth it for others. Both weave dry equally quickly when hanging - so no complaints there. I like these enough to be fine with keeping them, but I’ll be buying another set of the waffle weave and saving these for guests.Legit bought this thinking it was a full size bath towel. My bad. Gave it to the girlfriend anyways. It’s whatever, she uses it. They are also not nearly as absorbent as I had hoped, especially since I specifically searched for absorbent bath towels. I bought these ones and another brand (Onsen) at the same time and the other brands is much much nicer. Highly recommend going the other way unless you want to feel like you're drying off with cardboard.I’ve bought these waffle weave towels from Gilden for several of my baths, in various sizes. I love them for their absorbency, feel, ease of laundering and great looks. They are lightweight and hold up well to a lot of use. Highly recommended!
