I bought this as a gift for my mother in law back in December it worked great until about 3 days ago I was using it and it sliced off 3 of the tips of my fingers, it didn’t come with any safety tools. I was slicing some cheese (we’ve used it for cheese before) on the third slice it widened and in a matter of seconds it sliced my fingers I bled as if I cut my arm off and terrified my boyfriends siblings luckily I didn’t lose a finger but I lost the tips of my pointer, middle, and ring finger. I rate 4/5 for sharpness and effective but be careful and make sure to buy safety tools for this product if it doesn’t come with, I seen another person also cut off their finger and when I was at the hospital my victory also said his wife yet herself the same way with the same tool.
