It started making ice within about 15 minutes of plugging it up. I do wish the basket was a little bigger to hold more ice between when I dump it in the ice bucket in my freezer.Quick and easy setup. Very easy and very quick.Ice is produced within 6 minutes and within 15 minutes you have enough for your drinks. Good ice too. Ice melts in ice basket quickly.
