Have a 10 year old fridge bought at the local Sears scratch & dent outlet store (never did find a scratch or dent). Ice maker stopped working. Sears guy came out and was about to repair but fridge had no model number on it. He said he was prohibited from fixing without it. Then he said it was this part that was needed ,and if I ordered it myself it would cost a lot less then him doing it anyway. He even showed me where it goes and fact it was 3 simple screws to remove the existing and the new would pop right back in. He said it would take 5 minutes. He knew the model number by heart and said he often replaces them. To top that he didn't even charge me the $35 fee for him to come out! What a great guy!! Got the part and it took LESS then 5 minutes. Working perfectly!
