There was no solenoid controlled water shut-off valve but I didn't need one as there was one installed on the refrigerator.Kudos to the vendor since the icemaker was 100% OEM a d they refunded the difference for the cost of the cut-off valve.-1 star for not checking that the shipped product matched the description on Amazon.
