Couldn't be happier with it. This baby puts out the ice. My fridge was new in 2005. Model GE Profile™ PSS26SGRBSS ENERGY STAR® 25.5 Cu. Ft. Stainless Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser. The circuit board failed and I replaced with one from Amazon and wrote a review on that. It was a perfect replacement at great price. Same with ice maker. My original ice maker model (directly from the old ice maker) was 200D1181G013 WR30X10044 model CAN17. When the circuit board failed I was also dealing with a leaking ice maker. After much diagnosis I found it was leaking from the thermister cutout in the mold right which is right up against the white plastic housing of the unit. I jury rigged it with white DAP but after a few months it started leaking again but not as bad. I decided to replace it anyway since the teflon coating of the mold had deteriorated after 15+ years. If you research these ice makers you will find some "experts" say you will have to replace the unit every 5 years or so because the teflon coating eventually wears awary exposing the molds metal which then starts to etch away and even marks the ice with small metal specs—ugh! So I replaced it with this unit which is “almost” identical but not quite; neverthelesss, it is the correct replacement for my unit and works like a charm. Buying it from Amazon saved money also. Very, very pleased with all aspects of this purchase.This is a follow up 1 year after installation. This unit produces ice which is what it was designed to do. I love that it works so well. Like other reviews have written, this design does not work well at shutting off when the bin is full. So what, I still love it though it is a shame this aspect of the design is faulty.
