I got this ice maker to replace another replacement that stopped working. The replacement never did produce as much ice as the original, but I could live with it. This new replacement was easy to install and at first it produced as much ice as the one that originally came with the unit. I almost left a 5 star review. Then, about two weeks later the ice production began to fall off. There is frozen ice in the tray, but the arms that push it out come around seldomly. The result is that it doesn't make enough ice for the 4 of us. I have to buy about one bag ice a week. In summary, the first 2 weeks were great, since then it's only adequate.UPDATE 10-8-23 Turned my freezer temp way down and it started making ice like crazy. If this keeps up I will be very happyUPDATE 10-11-23 Still making ice like crazy! If your ice maker is running slow try turning the freezer temp all the down. If yours is like mine the ice flow will be great. Then you can begin to gradually turn the freezer temp up until you reach the sweet spot of just the right amount of ice. I will update again in a couple of monthsUPEATE 2-25-24 Since I turned the temp of my freezer down the ice maker continues to make ice like crazy! Very happy
