I don't know why it took me so long to use this after ordering it. I knew I didn't have access to bias tape with craft stores closed, and didn't want to take potluck on whether pre-made tape would match the found fabrics I had for making masks. However, there was a pattern I very much wanted to try, and it required bias tape. I finally watched a video, and went to work sewing bias strips together, then fed them through the tape maker with just the slightest learning curve (about not trying to iron the tape immediately as it comes out of the tape maker, as it needs just a wee bit of distance to settle into place. It was quite easy to then fold it in two and iron it again. After that, I had lovely bias tape which will probably spoil me forever. Unfortunately, I'd managed to make it in the fabric for the next mask in my stash, so I made another great length of tape to use for the mask for which it's needed. I was able to line the pattern in the tape up so that it fits remarkably well with the print on the mask, and I'm really quite proud of that. It looks as if it were designer made, not the creation of an amateur hand sewer using found fabrics, and it's the bound finishing which makes it so.Thank you were much for reading my review.
