This is a good quality mold. What I did cast came out with nice definition. It is on the small side for my purposes. The fish measured from tip to tail is 3.25" and the widest part is 1.75". I did not notice dimension information when I originally purchased it but the description does say the mold is suitable for soap making so I thought it could work for my project. I originally got it to make lotion bars which turned out okay. They were fine when they first came out of the mold with minimal breakage (one lost a tail while trying to get it out) but, after some use, I found that the shape overall is just too fragile for that purpose. It's a cute mold. I am considering using it to make some decorative soap instead of something I use everyday. I may buy another one to use for chocolate making. This mold is a good size for that and I could see it working well as an ice mold. I just wish it was a little bigger and/or heftier for my other needs.
