The full-pot side brews up to 12 cups of coffee using grounds. It also includes a programmable clock with 2-hour "Keep Warm" cycle and automatic shutoff. The single-serve side can brew up to 10 ounces with a K-Cup pack or 14 ounces with a travel mug and grounds. A removable cup rest doubles as a storage container for single-serve packs or to the brew basket. No two coffee drinkers are the same, so why should coffee be? We love this thing. It is two separate units in one, but it is extremely convenient and efficient. Single cup brewing takes nearly 3 minutes, but the end product is worth waiting for. Brewing is very consistent. The large kraft brewing is also excellent. However, the single serve cups are just plain awesome - no mess, convenient, no burnt taste like you get with coffee sitting for extended periods on a burner. Quality of life has improved considerably with this addition to our family.
