Ease of use. Got it yesterday and this morning I made French Toast for me and the lady. Looks like waffles but taste like French toast. This is a great product, The size is great if you want big portions. Cooks evenly, works as advertised. Gave it 4 out of 5 for cleaning because it takes a little more time to clean it up. The plates are not removable (wish they were) so you have to hand clean it. This CAN NOT go in the dishwasher or be submerged. Used it to make regular waffles and also some things seen online. Oatmeal waffles are great and filling. Tried Hash Browns or Tater-Tots mixed with eggs and that was good. Buy it and make your own style of waffles, experiment and have fun with it.I now have two. Still waiting for the belgian pancake maker that would be the bestThis waffle iron is nice! I love the fact I can be creative and come up with some unique ideas for fun and great tasting waffle. The flavors are endless!Turns waffles into another food group, love being able to put anything I want into the center of a waffle.I have tried several times to make different waffles, and it does not cook in the time alloyed. Even cooking it longer it does not cook the center of the waffle. It turns out with brown edges and gooey in the middle. Not engineered very well, cool concept but doesn’t work as advertised.Bought this waffle iron based on the size of waffle it makes. Seven inches in diameter and a very deep pocketed waffle. The first thing I tested was the preheating time. I found that it completely heated up in just under 2.5 minutes. Not bad. I then tried making a waffle according to the instruction book. I poured the batter in to the recommended level of about 3/4 from the top and I closed and latched the waffle iron. According to the instructions you flip the iron over using the handle. The cooking time is stated as 5 to 7 minutes. What actually happens is when you flip the iron the iron the batter shifts causing there to be too much on one side and not enough on the other side. It's lop sided in other words. The high side browns and the low side doesn't. Overall when the waffle is "done" it is browned but it is a spongey texture. Not very crisp even on the browned exterior. So I've got a somewhat browned, very lop sided, spongey waffle.Works awesome ❤️❤️❤️
