Description

To make authentic idlis, one needs the idli maker and an idli stand. This idli stand has four round tiers, 10 inches in diameter. Each tier has four concave depressions where the idli batter is poured. The trays are stacked and secured through a center rod, then placed in its covered pot with just enough boiling water to keep the bottom tray dry. Directions To Use : - Grease the idli moulds and spoon the batter into them. - Heat water in the idli cooker. Steam cook for about 12-15 mins on high. - Take out from the fire and let cool for a while and then remove the idlis from the molds.

Its not worth the money, the racks are good but the container cannot hold the steam pressure and require some extra wait on top when on the stove. The built quality is cheap.This product works but material is cheap and creates shrill noise when it steams. To the makers I would say put some thoughts when you are designing a productThe cooker has sharp edges and causing injuries to fingers and forearms. Otherwise it is good.Shape, Size and steel quality is good! I like this product. Inner ages for 2 plates are too sharp with extra steel coming out, may be minor finishing issue, except that its rally good product.Hi, this idli-maker has fallen apart. I was wondering if I can send it back for repairs? It needs to be put back up together and I don't have the right screws and tools to do this. Please advise if I can send the product back.Makes lot of noiceI am using it daily and idly comes soft and it is done in 10 minutes.All is well with this product outer pot. But The bottom of the stand holder is fragile the screws went off loose, bottom holder was seperated which is disappointing. The plates are in good condition.
